My journey into the writing and editing world started back in the 1980s, when I first stepped into the journalism room my first year of high school. That’s when I knew this was what my life would be about.
Life got in the way for many years, however, and I wouldn’t see that dream spring to life until many years later during a period of life when most adults have everything figured out.
After falling on some hard times and experiencing a boatload of personal trauma, I eventually found my way back to reading and writing.

And then I discovered I had a talent and a passion for editing. So, back in 2019, I had finally built this newfound passion into a successful full-time editing business. Over the years, I grew as I worked with a diverse set of authors, various publishing companies, and businesses looking for creative ways to tell their stories.
In 2023, I took the year off to be a caregiver for my mom and dad. It was unexpected, but they both died in 2024 due to complications from liver cancer. I took some time off to spend with family, then got to work on rebuilding and rebranding my freelance business.
The journey I’ve taken to get here has been far from easy, but I’m happy to have taken it.
